LEGO Pere Marquette #1225 MOC
After a year of planning and another year of building and tinkering I’ve completed my favorite steam locomotive in LEGO. I designed most of it in stud.io and modified once I got parts in hand. This locomotive is very important to me, as I grew up not too far away from it. I visited it with my Grandpa when I was young and visited it in 2019 while I was studying at Michigan State.
This model wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for Aaron Burnett. I met him at Brickfair 2019 and he helped design the chassis and guide me towards my final design. I also have decals from OKBrickworks and side rods from Alexander. My model was inspired by Edward’s NKP #765 and Ivan’s Polar Express.
This model features a PFx Brick and a XL speaker from Fx Bricks.
