Class 153 Super Sprinter

Originally part of Class 155 two coach units before being split, these single coach units operate on many commuter and branch line routes in the UK.

They have a top speed of 75 mph and a single Cummins NT855R5 Diesel engine providing up to 285 horsepower. A total of 70 were created from 35 Class 155 units.

5 of them operate in East Anglia on routes including the Felixstowe Branch.
