Freshly Served Snapshot: This front yard was on point. To the left with the red and orange flowers we have "red bird or paradise" or caesalpinia pulcherrima which is a common sight in southern landscapes as it requires very little water or maintenence. In the middle we have what looked to me like "gold star esperanza" or "yellow bells" as they are typically called here in Texas. Finally to the right was some pink blooming oleander, careful with the oleander though as they are toxic to pets and humans. Also the oleander are a favorite food of aphids which is in turn a favorite food of black widows (and lady bugs.) It's for both of these reasons I typically tell people to avoid landscaping with it but it requires virtually no maintenence or water so it is very common to see landscaping companies use it. #Greenhat #ilovemothernature #maketimeforadventure #flowersformyfollowers #flowersofinstagram #flowers #Landscaping #summerblossoms #Austin #Texas #ATX #TX ift.tt/2bMnvwz
