Meet George, stranger #27. I found George sitting on a bench in the mall with a green haired girl who had some kind of cosplay outfit on. He stood out for several reasons, mostly the way he dressed. It is unusual in Brisbane to see people with leather jackets on and you don't often see men wearing berets either. I thought to myself "this seems like an interesting guy, I'm gunna talk to him". George was keen straight away to be photographed.
George is an Electrical Engineer, here in Brisbane on holiday from Adelaide. "I came here for a gig, but covid, you know...", so now he is spending the week hanging out with his friends.
For the gear nerds among us I photographed George with a a vintage Canon lens. It is a Canon FL 55m f1.2, a gorgeous piece of Japanese engineering. I am quite happy with the performance of the lens. I had to stop it down a little for this shot to about f2.
