Empty Ethanol at Grafton
From two year ago, when the P&W was the P&W instead of another cog in the GWI machine. This is an 81 car empty ethanol tank train crossing Pleasant St in Grafton MA as they head north on the Providence Main with the venerable GP38 #2008 leading. Although this photo was taken in early March and there's not a single patch of snow on the ground. It was, in fact, a really nice Sunday afternoon. By contrast, today there's over a foot of the white stuff waiting to melt and wind chills were below zero. New England.....
