Final Portfolio

Artist Statement: I wanted to choose a variety of images to capture my image in Digital Imaging. What this meant was choosing images I had an easy time with, choosing ones I had a difficult time with, but most importantly, choosing images I had a lot of *fun* with. The collection of images within this portfolio aptly capture my digital imaging story. The most challenging piece of work for me was the Hogwarts Student ID avatar -- this was because I had just learned how to use Photoshop, and had quite a bit of trouble with masking. That's probably why the avatar looks so amateurish! The Redo/Golden Ratio Starbucks artwork shows something I learned in Digital Imaging -- digital drawing. I was able to hone my skills with Illustrator and the tablet to create something I was proud of. My favorite piece of artwork is the Advocacy poster -- I worked my hardest on it, and it really captured something I'm passionate about, getting more girls interested in STEM.
