envelope valentine

Still searching for easy valentines, I saw Kristina Werner make this one for Simon Says Stamp: www.simonsaysstampblog.com/blog/repeated-watercolor-image... and I was immediately inspired.

 

I have several mini-sets on my craft table at all times that I use on the back of envelopes, including Happy Mail by #GinaKdesigns . I love those sweet sentiments, but I had never used the little envelope. I stamped a bunch of the envelopes on some scraps of #PapertreyInk stamper's select white in four PTI inks: Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal, Raspberry Fizz, and Hibiscus Burst. I laid them all out on a piece of stamper's select white and then just moved them around like puzzle pieces until I got a mixture I was happy with. The sentiment is from All My Love by #SimonSaysStamp, stamped on a scrap of PTI Hibiscus Burst, with the big Love die-cut, first on PTI white and layered on PTI vellum. It's all layered on PTI's Hawaiian Shores cardstock, one of my favorites.

 

I sent this to my older cousin, who called to tell me how much she liked it. Which made me feel great.
