15 and at camp

While I had PTI's Be sentiment set out, I made a card for our 15-year-old nephew who also is at sleepaway camp. I used a background set from my Use It or Lose It personal challenge. This time I touched #PapertreyInk Fancy That which hasn't seen ink in a long time. I tried the same watercolor drip technique as on the previous card but this time went with a bunch of different colors.

To get my medallions stamped right, I marked the halfway point on each side of the watercolor panel and drew some lines. First I stamped the medallion in the middle and then on both sides, filling in the rest of the panel with PTI Dark Chocolate ink. After trimming I realized it wasn't in the middle any more but it looks fine because the sentiment doesn't hide too much of that center image.

I used a small punch for the sentiment, which is stamped in PTI New Leaf, inked with a blending tool on the edges, and popped up with foam tape. The panel is adhered to a New Leaf card.

I love the way this came out though I'm not sure a 15-year-old boy would love it so much. I'll have to remember this design!
