Soaked on the St. Maries at Pedee

St. Maries #501 leads the Plummer turn crossing the former Milwaukee Road trestle over Pedee Creek near Plummer, MT. It simply poured all morning long and it took two days for my shoes to dry out after walking the access road to the top of the trestle. The experience is one I won't soon forget, as the sound of the approaching train was worth it.
