A Little Islet on Birnie Loch

Beautiful Birnie Loch in mid-afternoon, when the thick fog had started to burn-off in the sunshine. Birnie and Gaddon lochs are old gravel workings which are beautifully managed as nature reserves by Fife Council and the Fife Ranger service. However, unlike the more well-known Texas Rangers, the Fife Rangers have never had to battle against the Comanche (Nermernuh) Indians. :0)) I'm heading off to Birnie in the hope of seeing the swans with their recently hatched cygnets. Catch-up with you later!
