Malala Yousafzai

On October 9, 2012, a masked gunman boards #MalalaYousafzai’s school bus and shoots her in the head, neck and shoulder for fighting against the Taliban's attempts to stop female education. After multiple surgeries and months of rehabilitation, Malala got discharged from the hospital in Birmingham, U.K. Because of her bravery, the #UnitedNations declares July 12th “#MalalaDay.” #ClapForThat!!
