A beautiful country, but sadly I was unable to find many birds or other wildlife for my lens. I am told that there has been habitat destruction in pursuit of the planting of citrus and pomegranate groves. I also understand that in agricultural country pesticides are heavily used, which may have led to a decline in the insect food available to birds.
