World Cancer Day 2020
Today is World Cancer Day 2020.
As a 2x cancer survivor and a way too many times cancer caregiver today has significance for me.
I was lucky, both of my cancers were caught early enough and the treatments worked. I have currently been cancer free for over a year. The downside is the number of loved ones I have lost over the years - my husband & father of my children, my mother, my sister-in-law and too many friends to count.
The key to beating cancer is raising awareness, listening to our bodies and being an advocate for our health.
