Vero de los Angeles Orozco is a native to San Francisco, Ca with a Nicaraguan background. She completed her BFA in Printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute in the winter of 2006. And will received her Library Tech. Certificate in 2011.

 

Her work can be described as resonant and pictographic. Her final pieces are primarily works on paper with applied mix-medium altered surfaces. When she can, her work carries her into 4-D installations, sculptures and challenging new and non-traditional art materials. Her primary interest is balancing form, color, and typography as well as introducing experimental ways of maneuvering given material(s).

 

Some of her influences have always been: Romare Bearden, Robert Rauschenberg, Maxfield Parish, Spie Dream, Ralph Steadman, and countless unexpected enlightenments. Vero strives to continually mature in collage work and visual abstraction; manipulating the “mishaps” into visual harmonies.
