Hi,

 

I have many interests. One of the latest is 3D stereo photography, and anaglyphs in particular... a form of "3D stereo images" utilizing 3D glasses (usually the Red/Cyan lens type). If you have these glasses you can view some 3D images I've done over the past few years. It's a lot of fun and anyone can do it for free. A little while back I started uploading 3D stereos in the "Crossview" (X-View) format along with versions of my anaglyphs. This way some folks who don't have 3D glasses but can converge (cross) their eyes might be able to percieve depth. This method is called Freeviewing.

 

If you're interested, I've developed an application that should help you starting out. It's geared to the newbie but has something for everyone including Digital Photography tips. The program is designed to run on the Windows platform. I also have some Anaglyph Power Point programs. Go to the bottom of my "Interests" section for the link information. If you click on a link Flickr will take you to a page with the link in a box. Copy the link from there and paste it into your browser to go to the link.

Update July '08... I'm starting to add some 2D images to my collection. Look for the 2D set.

 

I've separated my 3D images into many different "SETS", so it may be best to click on a set rather than look through the collage of various formats in the Photostream.

The 3D effect was created with my own technique of converting a 2D image to 3D by use of the clone tool via SPM (StereoPhoto Maker).
