In 1982 I was an Engineering student. I took a photography class to add some creativity to my schedule. I ended up changing my major to Art. I have been creating ever since. I enjoy photography, painting, printmaking, woodworking, making, film-making, metalworking, music.
Photography is therapy for me. It's mostly a hobby now. In the 90s I was really into it. I studied Ansel Adams' technical books and learned the zone system. That took me about 2 years to really understand. The challenge for me at that time was printing. I had a darkroom in the bathroom. I had to cover the window with cardboard and a dark cloth. It was tight quarters with no ventilation. Now, with digital processing, I am really enjoying how simple the process is. I really like Photoshop. I started using it in 1994. I can pretty much do anything that I could have done in the darkroom in less time and mess. I hope you enjoy my stream. ;-)
