i've found that art is at the heart of who i am...and therein lies my elusive, longed for identity.

it took a while, but it was well worth the wait.

now its hard to imagine life without art. i guess that's why i drank all those years and chased all those beautiful agonizing chemicals to fill my soul...it was during that lifetime that happenstance and serendipity set me on a path to s-l-o-w-l-y metamorphisize into the woman i am today. and with all that changing, i still change today. by the grace of life's Great Mystery i'll continue to evolve into who i'm meant to be as long as i stay willing to believe in Life's Great Mystery. with acceptance i can look into the mirror, knowing that to evolve i must stand up to what i can and bow down to what i can't.with art i don't ever have to be bored again.

so far i've learned that i love to learn and that i should never say never because art is the art of constant ever-surprising surprises! with art christmas is everyday and if i think i don't like something- i find i love it the very next day. Now i wake up everyday to know myself, evolved from yesterday, giddy and awestruck, with gained insight that pain and happiness are temporary and art, love, and compassion are available to us all when we are willing to look beyond the illusion.

if we all just looked out for eachother instead of just taking care of #1 things could be a lot simpler.
