It seems that I've always had photography in my life, starting with a Brownie at an early age and progressing through the days of film, flashbulbs and developer. In 1971, I started Sweezey Pictures in New York City doing portfolios and teaching. During 30 years of work and family, I was more of a snapshot photographer than anything else. I'd occasionally try to get some more serious shots, but time was a very tight commodity.

Retirement and digital photography have been my rebirth. With the fantastic growth in digital technology, there always seems to be more to learn and experiment with. I very much appreciate a website like flickr to see the images of other photographers. Its fun to share with such a great group. I am amazed at the terrific quality of work that never seems to end.
