I'm very new to photography. I started off using my iPhone early in 2011. After some encouragement from friends I dusted of our little 4 mega pixel Kodak digital camera and set about learning all I could about photography. In December 2011 I took the plunge into the realm of DSLRs with the purchase of a Canon 600d.

I'm enjoying this learning journey immensely. I'm a stay-at-home wife and Mum to 4 young children, who I homeschool.

Photography is a wonderful way of documenting our everyday lives and surroundings. With my camera, I revel in capturing the beauty in the ordinary, and often overlooked, things.

I have much more to learn and look forward to it!
