I started my photography journey using my iPhone early in 2011. After some encouragement from friends I dusted off our little 4 mega pixel Kodak digital camera and set about learning all I could about photography. In December 2011 I took the plunge into the realm of DSLRs with the purchase of a Canon 600d.

I focussed on capturing my four young children for many years. As they've all flown the coop I've turned my attention to my feathered friends and my surroundings, both ordinary and extraordinary.
