Welcome to my world of photography.
I’m Rahman—a Virginia-based photographer and IT professional by trade. Photography, for me, is more than just capturing images. It’s about being fully present in a moment, merging with the camera in my hand, and seeing the world through a lens that reveals beauty in the ordinary and the extraordinary.
I don’t limit myself to any one genre or style. Whether it’s a sweeping landscape, an honest expression, or a quiet detail from daily life, I follow what draws my eye and stirs my curiosity. Every photo is a step in an ever-evolving journey—one of learning, exploring, and storytelling.
Through my work, I aim to capture not just what things look like, but how they feel—the emotion, the atmosphere, and the subtle essence that often goes unnoticed.

My Opinions on Photography
1. If you're new to photography, focus on learning framing, composition, and storytelling first—these are the foundations that will make your images truly impactful, regardless of the gear you use.
2. I don’t understand the idea of constantly switching to a different camera. We end up losing money in the process anyway—whether through depreciation or selling at a loss. Personally, if I want a new camera, I’d rather just buy it and keep the one I already have. That way, I can enjoy both. Every camera has its own strengths and unique shooting experience, and I believe it’s valuable to learn and adapt to different systems rather than constantly replacing one with another.
3. There was a time I was fixated on bokeh, spending money on fast lenses just to get that creamy background blur. These days, my focus has shifted. I care more about the mood, story, and connection in the frame—bokeh is just a pleasant bonus now.

Flickr World: This is long overdue. Rusho is a longtime friend and contact who has a keen sense of photography, compositional elements, style and social conscience. I have always enjoyed his stream and have followed him from probably the beginning of his journey from when he bought one of his first DSLRs. Above all, he is probably one of the only people who have ever provided critical feedback, and I mean that in a very good way! Always making suggestions and pointing things out. To this day, I review each posting, and say to myself, what would Rusho say about this? Don't be lazy about some detail. I truly believe it has improved my photography tremendously. Please visit his wonderful stream!
Read lessI will have to say that Rusho has an eye for beauty and he can take the most ordinary and turn it extraordinary. I enjoy seeing his pictures and not to mention his talent for processing the gorgeous photos he captures! Keep them coming my friend!

Rusho is a wonderful person with great talent. His compositions are excellent. Keep up the good work. My best wishes :)
I'm amazed about Rusho's skills in just a short time. I see him growing and I can't even imagine where he will be in a few years. But one thing I'm sure: no matter what photography will remain a big portion of his life and I will be here with God's help to see it! All the best to you my friend! :-)))
