I’m Rahman, a Virginia-based photographer and IT professional with a passion for technology, creativity, and visual storytelling.

My photography journey began in 2008 in Queens, New York, during my early years as a new immigrant in the United States. What started out of loneliness gradually became a meaningful way to connect with the world around me.

Over the years, photography has grown into more than just a hobby. It has become a way for me to observe people, cultures, and the subtle details of life that often go unnoticed. I focus primarily on portrait and street photography, while also enjoying nature and landscapes whenever the light, setting, or a particular moment captures my attention. I have never believed in limiting myself to a single genre. My photography evolves with my surroundings, my curiosity, and the stories I encounter.

Beyond the images I create, I enjoy exploring the unique character of different camera systems and lenses from various brands. From the classic experience of DSLRs to the evolving capabilities of today’s mirrorless cameras, each system offers a different perspective and creative experience. I appreciate the process of discovering how different tools influence the way I see and capture the world.

For me, photography is about curiosity, fun, and finding meaning in ordinary moments. Whether I am photographing a person, a busy city street, or a quiet scene in nature.
