I call him "Dr. Bob". He is a wonderful photographer and my guess is that he is even a much better surgeon because I sense that he has a genuine care for people. Also, he has a steady hand which is really the number one need for a surgeon along with knowledge of the anatomy. Dr. Tan has such a great outlook on life, he brings joy to my day with his lovely photos and comments on them. And despite his hectic surgical schedule, he finds time to visit many of his thousands of friends on Flickr and comment on at least one of their shots each day. He truly is an inspiration to all of us. So, Dr. Bob, keep on shooting. Your photos are just top notch.
