Susan is not only a talented photographer, who loves to capture and share the things that mean the most to her with others, but she is a generous, and loving person who will go that extra mile for a friend. Thanks to Susan, I met Tigger, the (now retired) gatekeeper kitty of Sugar Mill Gardens. Not long afterwards, I began visiting him regularly, and taking care of him. Once that happened, she and I met and became good friends, as the way to Susan's heart is certainly through acts of kindness, which she understands more than most. With her help, I have continued helping Tigger, and have been able to take him into my home, and care for him, keeping him safe, which although in one way, broke her heart to not be able to see him as often, also gave her great joy knowing that Tigger is finally safe and happy. I, too, am blessed through her by having this wonderful animal as my companion and pet. I am much MORE blessed having Susan as my friend and sister in Christ. Thank you for being you, and for the privilege of getting to know you, my friend! BTW, Tigger sends his love to Mom Susan!

About 2 years before I retired from my gatekeeping position at Sugar Mill Gardens, I met Susan & made a very good first impression. She loves to take my picture, and I guess that's because she likes showing off my handsomeness. After we met, she visited me often, brought me treats and gave me skritches. She is the one that introduced me to the Flickr world, and helped me to become world famous on Flickr... she also introduced me to the person who eventually was able to adopt me when the dangers became too great for me to live happily at the gardens. And even though it means she doesn't get to see me nearly as often, she wishes me well in my new home, and still loves me! She is special to me too... Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. (Colossians 1v3-6). Although for medical reasons she has not been able to replace Myrrh, her beloved cat who has gone on to Rainbow Bridge, I admire the way she has been able to care for Tigger the cat who lives in the park.
