Samstag maritim - Der Bulker "AP Argosy" steuert den Rostocker Seekanal an. Das 229 Meter lange Schiff wurde 2012 in Dienst gestellt und fährt unter der Flagge von Malta. Das Schiff hat Kohle aus Russland geladen, die nun in Rostock gelöscht wird. Bei Einfahrt in den Rostocker Seekanal warteten bereits 3 Hafenschlepper, um das große Schiff sicher an die Pier zu bringen.
Aktuell (13.11.2013) liegt die "AP Argosy" noch an der Kohlepier im Seehafen Rostock.
Update - am 13.11.2021 um 12:30 Uhr hat die "AP Argosy" Rostock verlassen - Zielhafen Ust-Luga in Russland.
Sonntag maritim – Für mich ist das schönste Fährschiff mit Anlauf Rostock die „DROTTEN“.
Die MS „DROTTEN“ verkehrt auf der neuen Linie „Hansa Destinations“ zwischen den Häfen Stockholm (Nynäshamn) und Rostock. Das Schiff ist 196 Meter lang und wurde 2003 gebaut. Die „DROTTEN“ kann 1.400 Passagiere aufnehmen – es stehen unter anderem auch 115 Kabinen zur Verfügung. Eine Überfahrt dauert ca. 18 Stunden. Abfahrten von Rostock sind dienstags, donnerstags und sonnabends.
Aktuell liegt die „DROTTEN“ in der Zeit vom 10.11. bis voraussichtlich 29.11.2022 wegen technischer Probleme in der Werft von Landskrona (Schweden). Alle Passagierfahrten wurden für diesen Zeitraum gestrichen. Für den Frachtverkehr sind die RoRo-Schiffe „CADENA 3“ und „ELIANA MARINO“ im Einsatz.
