Why all these Beloit area scenes, landmarks and landscapes? I started doing this over 20 years ago, before there was a Flickr. My goal then was to find a way to create positive feelings, memories, and outlook for our city and its surrounding area. I wanted to show the beauty in our area that we, as locals, often don't notice or appreciate. For too many years, there was too much negativity in our community and the news media. We are long past that now, and the proof of that is obvious to see all around us.

Let these photos speak to the present and our past, and always remember to live the life you want the future to bring.
