DumindaUG is the official photographer at Sri Lanka Parliament since 2003. In a career spanning nearly two decades, he has had the opportunity to capture and record innumerable moments of significance, be it the first sitting of a new Parliament, the first address to the House by a newly elected President or the visits of foreign delegations, which are all part of the historic journey of the supreme legislative body of the island. He is also a visiting Lecturer in Photographic Practice at the Kaatsu International University (KIU), Sri Lanka and has worked as a technical editor and picture editor on many specialist Magazines & Coffee Table Books. His own photography - both digital and traditional-has been widely exhibited. He has contributed regularly to magazines & Books.
