A very simple photo , but the simplicity of the ocean and coastlines are my happy place. Just your basic sea, sky, sand.
In solitude, I find solace by the sea,
Where peace whispers its tranquil melody.
The ocean's embrace, a sanctuary deep,
Where worries fade and souls, sweet release.

Changes come in life but memories lock away forever. I got excited when I found this picture I had forgotten. I had a memorable day at the beach with family and simply must go again. We picked up snacks and lunch at an organic grocery store in half moon bay lagging behind like children because the bounty was impressive. Chairs and blankets we parked ourselves in the sand and drank in the beauty of the ocean.

About 10 miles south of Key West, Florida, USA. My intent was a minimalist capture alongside another boat at such an angle that it's wake would be parallel to my horizon. I also wanted the sun out of view but behind me to my left so that the deep greenish blue of the Atlantic Ocean in this location would reflect lightly off the hull.

Wave approach angles conditioned by wind flows and tidal currents produces scallop sculpting along beaches at the sea edge … where the cusps are small to high up on the beach.
Here, at a Great Ocean Road beach (Victoria, Australia), they are high and spaced conspicuously apart with hollows formed between them forming an attractive sea edge pattern deepened in beauty by the afternoon sun starting to go down.

A place I grew up with going to, but never into the water. It is so cold about 56 degrees on a good day. But the area is always inspired so many folks, great for kites, surfing and just playing in the sand, but not for swimmers

This coastal lagoon is fed by creeks and joins the ocean near this point. The lagoon was quite full due to a continuing good season. Middle Lagoon at Middle Beach in the Mimosa Rocks National Park Far South Coast of NSW.
A long exposure at Bournda Lagoon, which is adjacent to Bournda Beach in the Bournda National Park, NSW. A Lee Big Stopper used for 10 seconds at F9 with Nikon D810 and Nikkor 17-35 lens. Some minor processing added in Affinity Photo.
We were 36 hours sailing out of Mauritius (on a live-aboard fishing trip) when this open-ocean sunset closed the day.
