@NebraskaSC

NebraskaSC is a storm-chasing poet with a camera. Dale Kaminski lives for the electric nights when the sky explodes—ripping 70 mph gusts, walls of blinding CG lightning, and shelf clouds so apocalyptic they look photoshopped (but they’re real). I'm out there alone on gravel roads, heart pounding, documenting monster hail cores, needle-thin tornadoes, and the rare blood-red auroras that sneak down to 40° latitude. Every frame he grabs is pure adrenaline turned into art; he sells the best ones as prints so the rest of us can hang a slice of that chaos on our walls.

Between chases he’s reliving legends—like the unholy May 7 2016 Wray Colorado Tornado—swapping war stories with the chaser tribe, shrugging at “slow” tornado seasons, and always hyping Cornhusker football. One minute he’s posting a timelapse of lightning crawling across half the horizon, the next he’s captioning it deadpan: “70 mph wind gust… tons of CG lightning….” Understatement is his love language, and the Great Plains is his stage.

Updated Early 2026

2025 Went By Fast... Really Fast.

Since I soundly focus on the Severe Weather of the Plains of Nebraska & Beyond. I wait for each season with a passion to capture the severest weather events. Nebraska is Unique. Our seasons are usually 4 months apart. But the past few years we've seen a switch or a change in the severe weather patterns. Where I call home is in South Central Nebraska. The normal rain patterns have shifted over the past 40 years. I remember when Grand Island Nebraska (just to the east from where I am) Use to be called the Tornado Capitol of the world. In the 70 & 80s... That has changed...

Now I'm not a meteorologist. I sure wanted to be but the way life turned out the opportunities passed me by. By my choice. Life seems to push you was & directions you never thought you would take. Now much older & wiser than my younger self. Showing some wisdom & being careful in everything that I do when I chase severe weather.

I thank you for coming this far & clicking on the About Section. So to let you know that I'm retired & have some extra time to do what I enjoy... Flickr. So Yeah I'm Old but the Thrill of the Chase will never end. I'll do it till I die! #ForeverChasing

************** 2026 *************

Welcome, or welcome back to my Flickr Channel.

THANKS FOR watching my Videos and Viewing my Photostream here on #Flickr...

Now over 24+ Million Views... The growth of my photography & videography have quadrupled memberships here on Flickr has me dumbfounded. Thanks to Everyone whom make/made this possible. You see mother nature & I have this agreement..... View my photostream for more info!

Curate 150 Flickr Groups. I'm Monetized on my Facebook & YouTube Channels.

I have a link to Twitch for Live Streaming... However. I have broke my mount in Mid May 2023. Then I hurt my back severely bad. Had to back out of the Storm Chasing game til my back healed. Which it has never done. I'm going to have to slow down and not chase as much due to my health conditions. So I've been chasing local for the past 2 years. Not venturing out to other states just sticking to my home turf. We get plenty of severe storms here. My time in my truck & my back have limitations. I'm pushin 60 years old and I'm not gonna let the OLD MAN IN.. but do what I can today!

*************So What's New in 2026? **************

Flickr Side of Things....

My personal Flickr photostream and albums are getting a long due overhaul which I started back in the early days of 2023. New reworks of Images I couldn't process in years past. Now close to 30,000+ images is my goal for 2026. I'm close. It's work in progress.

Looking forward to another year of Storm Chasing Tornado Alley in 2026. New faces and new equipment to make this a whole new adventure. Picked up a Insta 360 Cam in 2024 with wicked outdoor tripod... It has brought my video Experience to a New Level...

Thanks for taking the time to visit my ABOUT Page... more below! I truly am humbled by the amount views likes stars comments. I get so many of them, I honestly don't have time to go through all of them but eventually I will. Thanks Everyone... Now back to taking more pics& video! Cheers!
