Physicist by training and at heart, but no longer by profession. Currently Application Engineer at GM Tech Center.

I have many hobbies, but photography has been my #1 hobby since I was 10 years old. I've never sold my photos (1 exception almost 30 years ago), but love to share them.

Now (Dec. 2005), for the first time in my photographic "career", I have just gotten my first "professional" camera. Until now, I have always settled for consumer-level cameras. I just got a Nikon D2X and can't wait to try it out!

7 January, 2006: Newlywed!! Married Cathy after whirlwind 4 month relationship. Very happy and spending all my spare time with Cathy and neglecting my groups on Flickr. Oh Well!

30 April, 2010: Cathy and I have moved to New Mexico. I'm trying to get back into my original career of Physics Research after about 15 years doing engineering, and am hopeful of finding something in Albuquerque. In the meantime, I am really enjoying hiking in the nearby mountains and doing more photography.

Thanks for making me a contact. I'm honored. I have a BE in Chemical Engineering and I struggled getting it and finding a job in the field. I enjoyed general physics and thought of changing my major but realized that majoring in physics may have been way over my head. When I was required to take physical chemistry, after trying to understand even the first page of the textbook was too much for me and thought what have I got myself into here. So you must be pretty smart. I gave up on ChE a long time ago but some of the "basics" are still there. Congratulations on your marriage.
