The following was taken from a commencement speech Steve Jobs gave at a particular prestigious college in some not so distant past ~ ~ ~

 

". . .You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever"

Having said that let me share with you some of the things that i DO believe. . . . you may disagree and that's o.k. We are all suppose to be different and that's what makes us (well some more than others) the unique individuals that we are.

 

1. There is no inherent good or evil. There's cause, and there is the effect. Good and bad are decided in an instant, yet the result can be quite ever lasting.

 

2. Time = Money. . . No one ought to be able to dictate how you spend YOUR money/time. We've all wasted money on some impulse buy, but unlike $$. (To me) There is no such thing as "wasted" time, as long as you learn/kept/gained something in exchange of that time spent. Who's to say you are wrong and they are right?

 

3. Nothing lasts forever, not diamond, not this universe, not even love.

 

4. "great pictures are taken by great photographers not by great cameras" Of course, the quality of the lens and the build of the camera does effect the picture to an extent.

 

5. "Care about your subjects. Tell their story as if you are going to be the last person to ever get that chance"

 

6. "See in yourself the things you want other people to see in you."

 

7. Everyone is replaceable. Or rather the function they serve in your life can be substituted by another. However, the memories, the feelings can't be bought with money nor with more time.

Well, if you are still reading.. it can only mean A) that you are either a very bored individual or B) you are really interested in what i have to say. Either way, I think you are swell and that I am willing to share something intimate about myself with you. Are you ready? I wonder how many people who visited my profile have saw this. Here it goes,

 

I loved twice in my life, the first time turned out to be a mistake, the second time. . is well, still in progress. I'll let you guys know how that turns out.

 

My primary language is Enligsh *duh*, but I speak Chinese well enough to get by. I can understand a little bit of Korean and Japanese. Eventually I plan to learn these two languages.

 

When i was younger, I wanted the world to change for me. Now that I am older, I want to try and change the world. Or am i the only variable that I can change in the end?

 

I absolutely, positively love it when a cute/pretty/hot/sexy/ (whatever adjective floats your boat) girl happens to wear a particular perfume that just encapsulates her as a person. It's the most beautiful thing in the world!

 

I hate it when people talk AT me, as oppose to talk TO me. You know one of those times when you are talking to someone but all of a sudden realize they really are just venting and not truly engaging in a conversation? yeah, when it happens to me. I pretty much end the conversation or find a reason to leave the person/place. @__@

 

I think there are somethings in life that can be priceless. Capturing a moment in time would be such a thing.

 

I live 2 lives simultaneously, by day I am someone but by night I am someone else. . . . what do i do you ask? Shhhh.. it's a secret!
