Photography has been a passion of mine since the early 80's, never having a camera too far from reach. In the begining it was small film and digital camera's but by 2006 I started wanting better image quality. I purchased my first "bridge" camera, a Canon S5is and then a SX1is, the latter being a big disappointment. In 2010 I upgraded to a DSLR, the Canon Eos 550d. It was a noticable increase in image quality and taught me a lot about photography and it let me capture images the way I wanted to. In 2012 I went full frame with the Canon 5d Mark III and am really enjoying the differences from the aps/c body. In 2019 I introduced the EosR to the stable, and love the mirrorless body and the added features that it holds over the 5d3. I also started experimenting with Infra-red photography with a converted Eos M.
