Mark Cooper Photography | Purchase Prints | Facebook | 500px | My Flickr Indiana |

Photography has been a passion of mine since the early 80s, never having a camera too far from reach. In the beginning it was film, and I eventually moved to digital. I purchased my first "bridge" camera, a Canon S5is, in 2007, and eventually upgraded to a crop DSLR, the Canon EOS 550D, in 2010. It was a noticeable increase in image quality and features, and it taught me a lot about photography and allowed me to capture images the way I wanted. In 2012, I purchased my first full-frame body, the Canon 5D Mark III, and since 2019 have moved into the Canon mirrorless ecosystem, firstly with the EosR and eventually adding the R7 and amazing R5. I'm really enjoying the mirrorless bodies and the added features they hold over my previous DSLRs. I also recently introduced myself to infrared photography with a converted EosM.

A little about me: I was born in Australia in the mid 60s and throughout my childhood and youth lived in various towns across NSW and enjoyed travelling to several States, capturing images of landscapes, flora, and fauna. In 2013, I immigrated to the USA and have lived in Indiana since then and recently became a US citizen.

I have really appreciated the feedback here on Flickr, and comments are always welcome and encouraged.

Mark.
