I'm a keen amateur photographer from Sunderland, on the north-east coast of England.

I first developed a passing interest in photography as a twelve-year-old entrusted with my parents' Kodak Instamatic, but it took many years and the introduction of digital cameras to turn that interest into enthusiasm. I concentrate mainly on landscape, architecture, and nature subjects (dovetailing nicely with my lifelong love of dog-walking in the great outdoors)... and not at all on any kind of 'people' photography! Photo shoots tend to be restricted to within the ancient kingdom of Northumbria, as I much prefer my home comforts to living out of a suitcase, but fortunately, many beautiful locations lie within a radius of no more (and often much less) than a two- or three-hour drive.

I switched from Nikon to Fuji in July 2023, and I'm currently using the following cameras...

Comments, advice, and constructive criticism regarding my photographs are always welcome and appreciated, but might I politely point out that I avoid using comment codes and will delete any evidence of their use I find in my photostream.
