I'm a keen amateur photographer from Sunderland, on the north-east coast of England. I concentrate mainly on landscape, architecture, and nature subjects, dovetailing nicely with my lifelong love of walking my dogs in the great outdoors. Photo shoots tend to be restricted to within the ancient kingdom of Northumbria, as I much prefer my home comforts to living out of a suitcase, but fortunately, many beautiful locations lie within a radius of no more (and often much less) than a two-hour drive.

Comments, advice, and constructive criticism regarding my photographs are always welcome and appreciated. I read every post, and I try to respond to them all. That said, I must politely point out that I avoid using comment codes and will delete any evidence of their use I find in my photostream. I also geotag my photos, except those taken in sensitive locations such as my home or the habitat of rare, endangered species. Finally, I never withhold my EXIF data or plaster my name across my creations in unsightly watermarks, practices that smack of hubris to me... just saying. 😉
