On May 5th of 2014 my Silver Beige Standard Poodle came into this world. I just know that she was an angel sent down from doggy heaven by my Ebbie wanting her to be loved like she was. Her name just had to be Anjelique.....a unique angel....and is now spelt ."Anjel” She is still too young to leave her mother and won't come to live with me until the end of June......I hope that I will be able to keep up with her puppy antics.....we will begin her training in August and hopefully she will be a therapy dog for nursing homes and hospitals patients to love and enjoy.
HEAR YE!!!! HEAR YE!!! WARNING!!!!! PUPPY PHOTOS WILL BE RETURNING TO FLICKR IN THE NEAR FUTURE....
Anjel is now 5 months of age. Has now received all her shots and is ready for the world. Groomer did her face and feet which are silver in color ...body is beige. She has now learned on command to sit, give paw, down, stand up, off , no teeth on hand, fetch toy and drop on command, leave it and working on heel when walking.........one smart girl. We has gone thru Puppy Class and now is in Basic Obedience.....hopefully in time we will be a Therapy Team for hospitals and nursing homes.....one paw at a time....

I, Ebonique "Ebbie", on the 28th day of January 2014 I entered Doggy Heaven. Those furry companions that had gone before me now have taken me under their wings. What a beautiful place this is to run and romp with all my doggy friends.
My Note to my human companion, "Don't forget I'll meet you at the gate".
I have been and am a happy fun loving standard poodle with a fur coat that is shiny and black. They say I'm arf-fully smart and beautiful!!!!!!!!
My Personal History
I'm an eleven year old standard poodle with a sense of humor. I love life, people and other critters. I have papers that say I am from a line with a whole bunch of champions. Roland and Sharon Shafranek and Joseph Vergnetti are my breeders. My parents are Dassin Dixie Bug and Dash Tyler of Hillgreen. ....."Freeman(Bud) Dickey was our handler until he passed away, then his partner Joseph Vergnetti took over Dassin. Buddy took dixie our Dassin Diva Dulce to become the #1 standard in 94-5. Then Joseph showed her to her spectacular Best in Breed win at Westminister in 95. Dassin Diva Dulce is Ebbies grandmother. Morgan (Ebbie's mom) was Dixies daughter. Bud Dickey was the best handler of that time and could spot a great poodle at birth. My AKC name is Diva Dassin Ebonique.....
I’m a normal pup who once in awhile likes to strut her stuff. I was a student of Michelle Blount’s PAWSitive Dog/Human Training classes . I've attended her puppy class, clicker classes and CGC . I passed her CGC test and am now AKC certified. When Michelle moved out of state I enrolled in many classes with one of her predecessors Christy Paxton - (Hand in Paw) dog training and with Cindy Hoppes -(Pawsitively Good Pup) dog training. My aim is to entertain, bring smiles, and laughter to humans.
Tricks I Have Accomplished
I've learned in class to sit, down, rollover, stay, give paws, high five, where's my tail - touch my tail, circle round an object, spin; I can say my prayers (yep even us pups need a little help now and then); nap with my blanket - take five and hides eyes; hold bone treat on top of nose until command "OK" to drop treat and eat; upon command will pick up any object and give to human; bring and distinguish different toys by name; put toys in and take them out of a basket; carry stuff in a basket; pull a wagon as well as my bear pull toy; can fetch a toy chicken's nest - place an egg in it and put the chicken on top of her egg; I sometimes will wear a fishing hat and can take the fish off the pole and put it into a basket; for compassion and treats will limp on three legs; I can do a trick with a stuffed mouse - a block of cheese - and a mouse trap; I play basketball with the Woofers team and can make baskets; I push a stroller with my stuffed poodle pup seated in it, also can push a toy shopping cart - shop for birthday gifts - can identify a car for a boy, a doll for a girl, a bone for myself and put them into my shopping cart - give the cashier my money and carry them in a paper shopping bag; open a cooler - take a pop can out of the cooler- bring the pop to my human and then close the lid with my paw; will take treat from hand when human says, “A treat from mommy” but will refuse and turn head away when offering is “A treat from the dogcatcher”; will bring Kleenex to someone who sneezes or makes a mess; distinguish a square block from a round ball place the square block into a square hole and the ball into a round hole - best of all is when I complete this feat and tap a metal bell with my paw I receive treats (love them treats); sometimes when I feel shy I hide my face with my paw; most of the time I can pick out a yellow ball from a blue ball; when my human sings "Jingle Bells" I fetch bells and ring them just to keep her in tune...arf arf just a little doggy humor; I can place a plastic star onto and take it off a post that lights up with a musical "Ta-Da" my human came across a small piano and added a candelabra...she has taught me to strike the keys with my paw to make music like Liberace....but I perform under the name of Ebber-ra-ce; recently she painted a small wooden wagon red - made a hitch and harness for me...wonder what she wants me to do with that?; have learned to identify a cow, hen and frog by my human spelling out their names ; while using a dowel can dial an old-time rotary phone(not connected -human must be afraid that I will run her phone bill up) ..My human says we are learning to dial a telephone. Really don't know why she says "we - I'm doing all the work; I can identify number five from a one and a seven when asked "If you Ebbie had ten bones and gave five away to your pals" how many bones would be have left? Yesterday my human gleefully said "We" have a new trick to learn (there's that word "We" again) ..a golf club and ball Oh joy!!!sure is a good thing that it is plastic or I might beat someone/thing over the head with it..I can now hold the club in my mouth and am working on my swing .."When we accomplish this", my human said.next we will work on your "Approach", "Backswing", " Chip Shot", and we need to pay close attention to that "Dogleg" on the course - if she would ask me I rather be at the CLUBHOUSE for a drink and a bone. "If I get really good, my human remarked I would get a "Birdie".... bring them birdies on I say..but to be truly honest with all you pups out there the only swing I will be able to manage being that I am so close to the ground would be a "Wormburner" as my human keeps saying "Choke down" on that club Ebbie..
My human is now teaching me to read cue cards. I can now recognize three of them "SIT' and "DOWN" and "BOW" without my human saying one word.
Phew!!!....Must take a break and grab a catnap--- wouldn't mind grabbing a cat or two - arf arf -a little doggy humor. don't know what she has lined up for me in the future.....but I'll keep trying for us pups all know that humans are the healthiest and the happiest when their minds are active and I aim to please
Please do not steal my images, if you would like to use one of them, just email my human for permission...thanks
