Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn Bowl is a 20,000+ square foot bowling alley, live entertainment and performance venue, and Blue Ribbon restaurant.
Brooklyn Bowl is a true original, with the large performance stage ideally located next to the elevated bowler’s lounge, featuring a state-of-the-art sound system designed by Harman Kardon. Our 16 new bowling lanes feature a scoring system developed and installed by industry leader Qubica/AMF. With a capacity of 600, the possibilities abound for all types of public and private events, ticketed performances, live music, film screenings and video performance on our high definition video projection system.
Our kitchen and menu have been designed by the famed Blue Ribbon, who will manage our food operations and offerings. New York Magazine recently named Blue Ribbon’s Park Slope location the #1 restaurant in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Bowl will proudly serve a Blue Ribbon menu!
The establishment is led by veteran entertainment industry owner/operators of the former renowned club Wetlands Preserve, Peter Shapiro and Charley Ryan, who have assembled a dream team of contributing professionals. Designer Tristam Steinberg has subtly accentuated the rough-hewn beauty of this 1889 ironworks building with hand-crafted railings, furniture and bar accents by Ferra Designs. Brooklyn firm Learned Evolution is executing the media, branding and marketing strategy.
Wherever possible, Brooklyn Bowl is utilizing local sources and local talent from the neighborhood and elsewhere in Brooklyn. As the first bowling alley to be L.E.E.D. certified by the US Green Building Council, we are committed to the use of renewable and recycled materials, to solar and wind power, and to creating charitable events.
Brooklyn Bowl is situated a few short blocks from the bustling Bedford Ave L train station, the first stop in Brooklyn and just minutes away from Manhattan’s East Village, Union Square, and West Village/Chelsea.
