As we have admired the David Lean film Brief Encounter over the years, I was inspired to become part of the film and travel back in time with my partner (now wife), Janet. Our destination was Carnforth Station, to play the characters of Laura and Alec in our Brief Encounter. We also hope to visit other locations around the country where Brief Encounter was filmed and recreate some of the smaller scenes for our film version. We have both enjoyed doing this project and hope you like our efforts as a tribute to this great British film classic.
