The worst lenses I've ever owned are listed below. A few photos from each are here on Flickr.

Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6

Terrible all around lens. Lots of chromatic aberration, significant vignetting, dark, hazy, etc. No post-production can fix the images this lens tries to showcase.

Quantaray AF 70-300mm f4-5.6 LD Tele-Macro

All plastic construction lead to it's failure in the field! And now it doesn't work. It burned out at an air show. Super hot weather and direct sunlight with no shade. Using a Canon EOS 50D on burst mode. It just stopped working. Fortunately, I had another lens with me. Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. Not the best backup lens for an airshow, but it's all I had at the time and provides much better image quality than the Quantaray.... any day!
