"The Allure of the Automobile". The Portland Art Museum (PAM), which also featured The Blastolene Brothers crazy creations!

The "Blastolene Brothers" are not biological brothers, but a collective of custom automotive artists and craftsmen—primarily Randy Grubb and Michael Leeds—who build massive, one-of-a-kind art cars. Operating out of Northern California (including Grants Pass, OR, and the Santa Cruz area), they are famous for constructing jaw-dropping hot rods powered by enormous vintage engines. The Blastolene Special, famously known as the "Tank Car," is a custom roadster built in 2001 by American craftsman Randy Grubb and glass artist Mike Leeds. Famous for its massive scale and retro-futuristic design, it features an all-aluminum, hand-hammered body inspired by 1930s Bonneville land-speed record cars. Purchased shortly after its creation, it remains a centerpiece in entertainer Jay Leno’s car collection in Southern California.
