I'm an ambient light photographer - I'd almost rather not get the shot than to use a flash. I started taking pictures at concerts in the 1970's and 80's and moved from film to digital in the last few years. I love to capture the 'in the moment' shot that gives a deeper view into the person, be it a musician, an athlete or just someone I see or know.
I license my photos for non-exclusive use (and can do exclusive if the details are agreeable). I also make fine art archival prints upon request (I'm starting to shop for a more formal outlet for the work, since there is a LOT that could be shared). If you're interested in either of these options, please contact me through the Flickr email with details.
Please don't use them without my permission!
I shoot and write part-time for www.austinist.com, voted the #1 culture blog in Austin by readers of the Austin Chronicle. It's a sister publication to Gothamist.com as well as a number of other blogs in cities around the world.
Professional credentials (day job) are here.
NOTE: If you are one of 'those people' seeking revealing photos of guys and gals for your own personal use - if most of the photos in your collection fail the 'safe filter' function of Flickr and offers to take the visitor to see the kittens, GET LOST! I WILL block you when I find you.
