Stephen Laszlo has been specializing in B&W imagery for over fifteen-years and has recently transitioned to digital photography as his base medium. Although Stephen still shoots film, mainly medium format, he still uses traditional B&W techniques when shooting digital. All photos are shot in B&W utilizing the Zone System and digitally adjusted to represent, as closely as possible, the traditional dark-room techniques of the past. He believes that the original image captured in-camera should not be over-processed or manipulated beyond its original intent. Stephen’s photography remains true to preserve and present the art of B&W and retain the original artistic vision.
