Born in Northern Ireland in 1961 and moved to Guernsey in 2008. I bought my first camera ( a Rollei B35 ) when I was 10 and my first SLR when I was 17 (an Olympus OM1n). I went digital with Olympus E400 in 2006 and moved to Micro 4/3 a few years ago using a Pen-F with a choice of the f1.8 primes or an OMDS OM1 with the trinity f2.8 Pro lenses. Since 2023, I've been shooting on a Leica Q2 Monochrom and a Leica SL2.

In film days I either shot colour on Fujichrome or B&W using Ilford FP4 or HP5, printing onto Ilford Multigrade. I much prefer the processing in Lightroom and Photoshop nowadays and can't imagine returning to film.
