Hello

I am a hobby photographer who is still discovering a lot about photography. In the past I mainly used to take pictures during holidays, but with the advent of digital that has changed. Among my favourite subjects are our three cats. They are wonderful subjects and they are always around. I have become very fond of my macro lens, which allows me to portray the world close-up. Flowers, bugs, butterflies, they all make wonderful subjects.

I work almost full-time as an English teacher. Together with the housekeeping and taking care of the family, that doesn't leave that much time for shooting.

My earlier pictures were taken with Olympus cameras, an E-1, an E-3 and a C-5050 compact. At the beginning of 2012 I have switched to a Canon 7D coupled with a 50mm/1.4, a 100mm/2.8 macro, a 15-85 walk-about zoom, and a 70-200 F4 / L and a Canon flash. The most recent addition is a Panasonic FZ-1000 bridge camera, for those days on which I don't want carry a lot of equipment.
