I attended art college at 17 years old - a year before the official entry date of 18 - as the art tutors thought I was at the required standard to pursue an illustration course. This is a series of works for 'agency' illustrative art briefs devised by Peter Bentley (famed for Evelyn Waugh covers by Bentley/Farrell/Burnett).

Looking at the passage of time through its effect on the coastal landscape where I returned to for inspiration most of my life either on the north Wales coast or the coastal landscape around Trieste, Italy where I lived a few years.

I also teach art.
