I have been sewing since I was a kid, and in 2006 my daughter Britt taught me how to quilt. She begged me relentlessly to learn, and I finally decided to try it, mostly so she would stop bugging me. My 'style' has evolved since 2006 and continues to do so. I love modern. I love improv. I love contemporary. I love traditional. The best part of quilting is...there are no rules! Mixing it up, combining styles - seeing where it leads is one of the best parts!
I sell many of my quilts on Etsy. Etsy has been good to and for me. I have two shops, actually. One for my modern quilted items and one for all those 'extras' I love to try! This is where you can find me:

Lately I have dabbled in hand dyeing fabric with my lovely daughter! Again something I never desired to do! But it too is addicting! There is something mesmerizing about achieving those unique colors! These hand dyed fabrics feeds my love of solids, bright and bold colors!
