Pray for relief efforts in the Gulf Of Mexico, the safety of the Coast Guard and everyone involved in capping this wild well, the rapid conclusion to this environmental disaster, the recovery of our important fisheries.....

Mardi Gras notes, Fat Tuesday in NuAwlns, 2010. My friend Christine took most of these shots, but seeing as i was the responsible one to get everyone home safely, and because we all laughed so hard at the photos the next day, i uploaded them to my Flickr page. And for the record, my ex-wife took a lot of the snapshots in here, she has a much better eye for snapshots than i do.

Thrilling Victory for the Who Dat Nation, Super Bowl XLIV,

2/7/2010 !!!

2/5/10 LSU Gymnastics team hosts #1 ranked Alabama in the PMAC. Final, LSU 196.40, Alabama 196.20. Stunning victory, Go Tigers! Congrats to Susan Jackson for having ice water in her veins, winning the overall, and coming thru

at the very end!!!

Pray for Haiti....reminds me so much of what we suffered here in Louisiana with Hurricane Katrina (and along the beautiful Mississippi coast), except of course, Haiti is a much larger disaster...

Palo Duro Canyon is a very cool place in the panhandle of Texas, Lonesome Dove country, where some of my cowboy great-grandparents migrated across in covered wagons, to settle in Oklahoma. Those were my mom's people...my dad's folks came into Alabama in the very early 1800's.

I am an older fellow,

married for many years, now single

three beautiful grown children

Somewhat traveled, many wonderful life experiences.

I have lived in the U.K., New England, New Jersey and now in the deep south, USA, in Louanna-danna-bananaland.

Uncle Sam flew me to South East Asia for some fun in the jungle a long time ago.

Geaux Tigers! LSU has a special place in my heart.

I am not much of a photographer, i was a hobby photo shooter in the days of 35mm film and my ex-wife and i had a darkroom for fun. There are tons of family/places of interest in shoeboxes scattered around and i am slowly posting some of these purely for historical interest and fun!

Go ahead and write me if it strikes your fancy.!
