I am an Englishman who is now retired, living in Portugal.

Photography and Railroads have always been a passion of mine and recently I decided to share of selection of my images on Flickr. Favourite locations in the States were always Tehachapi, Cajon and Abo Canyon with the Fraser and Thompson Rivers being my favourite locations in Canada.

Before moving out to Portugal, our last home in the UK was very close to the famous Settle and Carlisle Railway Line and I have also included some images from there and another of my favorite locations in the UK, Barnetby-le-Wold in Lincolnshire and various locations in the North of England.

Over the years I have owned numerous cameras including Nikon F4, F5, DX1 and DX2 models, Pentax 645, Contax 645, Hasselblad Xpan and Leica M8, the latter being my all time favorite simply because it negated the need to drag round tons of gear and it also made composition decisions far simpler.
