I've been in complete awe of Ali's photographing and processing skills since discovering her on Flickr many moons ago. She has a style all her own, yet each of her pictures is so completely different and unique. I'm in love with the fact that she can bounce between off-the-wall goofy, strong-willed and intellingent, crazy-scary, classically gorgeous, and stunningly sexy all in the same week. I love that Ali makes such sacrifices for her photography. She's put countless things on her face, thrown herself in ice-cold lakes, gotten completely GaGa'ed out, and jumped so much it's made MY legs sore :) I adore her many faces and "do's" oh-so much. Aside from just her amazing talent, I've discovered a wonderful friend in Ali. She is fun, kind-hearted, and dedicated, and just cannot be topped :)

It is so terribly difficult to be a self-portrait artist these days. All the cool kids are doing it, and there is so much commotion in the world of SP's, that the majority of them start to look the same after a while. That's not the case with Ali, though! Her SP's are some of the most original I've ever seen, and she has a taken a popular style (vintage/retro) and made it *completely* her own. There is something really intimate about her SP's - something really captivating in the way she sees herself, and the way she presents herself to the world. She is a very skilled photographer, and her other, non SP's are just as cool and quirky as everything else she posts on Flickr. She really is a unique and gifted individual, so I promise you will not be disappointed as you look through her stream. She is an absolute delight!
