I am a retired, lifelong teacher with a passion for railways and photography. Due to the Covid lockdown in Melbourne, I commenced studying general photography. I am now living between Cambodia, for the second time in my life, and Melbourne. I am working hard to learn techniques required for general photography. At the moment, I am into railway photography, street photography and motion blur, along with monochrome/sepia. However, I am also trying to capture people, not posed, but in unusual circumstances or with unusual facial expressions. I am using a Nikon D7500 with two kit lenses and a prime 35mm lens...and I must be learning something because I feel the need for some better lenses.
